Zack, Red Cloud Games

This one’s a little extra special — meet Zack, the maker behind Red Cloud Games (and yes, also my husband 💚). When he’s not putting up with my late-night crafting explosions, Zack’s busy turning pixels into play through fun little 2D games and quirky pixel art.

Unlike many makers in the Cozy Chaos Club, his workspace is actually… tidy. Organised even. (I know - shocking, right?) But don’t let that fool you into thinking it’s all calm. Chaos sneaks in elsewhere - like staying up until 4am because one stubborn line of code won’t play nice, or realising halfway through a project that the whole thing’s built the wrong way round and needs dismantling.

His soundtrack of choice? House or drum & bass on full blast (I can confirm this), unless he’s secretly indulging in his guilty pleasure: a bit of noughties cheese. And always fuelled by Pepsi Max, of course.

Zack’s “just wing it” energy has even spilled outside of gaming - like the time he built a full outdoor sofa for the family with no measurements, just pure determination. And if his craft had a spirit animal? A beaver. (“Because DAMN, those guys know how to make something strong.”)

Between tidy workspaces, pixel chaos, and late-night coding sprints, Red Cloud Games is proof that creativity can take many forms - and that sometimes, chaos is just another way of building something fun.
