Chocolate Bark – The Easiest Fancy Snack You’ll Ever Make
Time: 10 minutes + cooling
Serves: Flexible — depends how much chocolate you use
Vibe: Indulgent but secretly effortless
If you’ve ever looked at fancy chocolate bark in a shop and thought “I could never make that” — I’m here to tell you… you totally can. And it’s almost embarrassingly easy.
You’ll need:
- 200g dark chocolate (or milk, or white — go wild)
- Your favourite toppings:
Chopped dried mango + pinch of sea salt (my personal fave)
Or a mix of cranberries, sultanas, raisins, chopped crystallised ginger, nuts… you get the idea.
How to make it:
- Melt your chocolate in the microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring each time until smooth. You can absolutely do this in a bowl over a pan of hot water if you want the extra washing up!
- Pour onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and spread out to about ½ cm thick.
- Sprinkle on your toppings, pressing them in very gently.
- Chill in the fridge for 30 mins (I usually use the freezer), then break into rustic shards.
Holistic twist: Wrap pieces in parchment and pop in a jar with one of our fabric jar toppers for a beautiful gift.
